The Gilmer County School System held its annual Family Literacy Night at Huff-Mosley Memorial Stadium last Friday. The event drew 1,029 people to Pettit Field as the county’s students visited booths hosted by GHS clubs and sports programs, as well as local organizations and businesses. Students received literature and also took part in various games and activities as they made their way through 43 booths.
