Vehicles navigate the new four-way stop in downtown Ellijay, which was put into effect over the weekend. New stop signs have been installed on North Main Street (both directions) and North Avenue. An existing stop sign on College Street is also part of the all-way stop, which was approved by the Ellijay City Council to slow traffic speeds through the downtown area. New striping has been added to North Avenue, while rumble strips will also be installed in the near future.
