A couple of brisket bandits have been arrested and charged with breaking into the Pink Pig, a barbecue restaurant.
Kenneth Franklin Eaton, 32, and Shanda Nichole Green, 39, both of Blue Ridge, were charged with second degree burglary, according to a report from the Gilmer County Sheriff’s Office.
An investigation showed the two broke into the Pink Pig at 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning. They took some brisket from the smoker and sat down and ate, throwing the excess away.
The entire incident was caught on video.
Gilmer County deputies swore out warrants for Eaton and Green, who were identified from the video.
On Monday, Eaton called deputies and gave them his location.
