License plate recognition (LPR) cameras put up around Ellijay led to the arrest of four people accused of stealing jewelry and cash from a home in Madison, Miss.
Madison police said the burglary happened on March 15, and the suspects’ vehicles were able to be identified after an investigation. That’s according to a report by WLBT, a news station in Jackson, Miss.
On March 16, the vehicles were captured on LPR cameras in Ellijay, and local police were able to locate and arrest them after being contacted by Madison police.
The suspects were identified as Jhojan Nicola Rodriguez Monslave of Colombia, Brayan Fernando Cruz-Montanez of Colombia, Fabio Alexander Aldana of Colombia and Tifanny Londono of Flushing, N.Y.
WLBT stated Madison investigators traveled to Ellijay to complete several search warrants, alongside Ellijay police.
