Wayman Allison

Mr. Wayman Allison, 82, of Ellijay, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021.

He was born Jan. 16 1939, in Fulton County to the late James and Thelma Lewis Allison.

He was employed by the city of Atlanta as a fireman where he worked for many years and was a member of  Cartecay Baptist Church.

He is survived by wife of 62 years,  Jean Allison; children, Pam and Randy Richards, of Ellijay, Chris and Kay Allison, of Smith, Ala., Kim and Alan Robison, of Acworth; brother, Charles Allison, of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Bonnie Bragg, of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Michelle and Haven Thomason, Courtney and Brandon Johnson, Mary Robison, Chasie Graham, Taylor and Monica Allison, Kasey and Bobby Dempsey; great-grandchildren, Michaela Thomason and Shay Goodine, Brayden and Adyson Johnson, Aubrey Robison, Sebastian and Sidney Graham, Georgia, Lucy and Emmaline Allison, Kayla Green and Reagan Dempsey.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cartecay Baptist Church, c/o Chad Hall, 118 Riverwood Rd., Ellijay GA 30536.
