Troy Lee Stover

Mr. Troy Lee Stover, 69, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021.

He was born in Blue Ridge May 4, 1952, to the late Lewis Stover and Izora Early Stover. He was a self-employed electrician and was a member of Cherry Log Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping and loved collecting guns and knives.

He is preceded in death by sisters, Betty Stover and Shirley Nicholson.

He is survived by wife, Barbara Stover; daughter, Becky Hagin (Kenny); brothers, Louie “Buck,” William, Jerry, Billy, Bobby, Tommy and Timmy Stover; sisters, Barbara Queen, Carolyn Beavers, Patti Allen, Mary Stover and Vanessa Stover; two grandchildren, Jessica Henderson and McKenzie Hagin; great-grandchild, Noah Kate Henderson; and fur buddy, Winchester.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at Cherry Log Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenny Hagin, the Rev. Joey Patterson and the Rev. Brondy Davis officiating.

Interment was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Neal Young, Josh Stover, Keith Allen, Jon Hall, Nathan Hughes, Alan Nicholson and Tony Nicholson.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
