Mr. Samuel “Paul” Lindsey, 82, of Talking Rock, died Friday, April 1, 2022, at Northside Cherokee Hospital.

He was born Jan. 11, 1940, in Pickens County, to the late Sam and Maureen Henderson Lindsey.

He was a graduate of Pickens High, class of 1958. He served his country in the United States Air Force for four years. He was a meat cutter for over 45 years and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by wife, Eloise Lindsey; sisters, Elise Jones, of Orlando, Fla., and Janelle Walker, of Jasper; special friend, David Tippens; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2022, from Cross Roads Baptist Church in Pickens County with the Rev. Autry Dean officiating.

Pallbearers were David Tippens, Chris Tippens, Michael Tippens, Roger Pendley, Chad Carlan and Roger Henderson.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
