Robert Henry Nicholson

Mr. Robert Henry Nicholson, 59, of Ellijay, died Wednesday, March 30, 2022.

He was born Jan. 9, 1963, in Gilmer County, to the late John Henry Pinson and Roxie Sisson Pinson.

He was employed by Dover Construction.

He is preceded in death by brother, Bo Bo Pinson.

He is survived by mother, Roxie Sisson Pinson;  daughters, Christy Sanford, Rhonda Nicholson, and Gracie Nicholson; son, Robbie Nicholson; brother, Lather Pinson; sisters, Edith Gant, Melissa Mills and Ann Pinson; and 17 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2022, in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Grizzle officiating.

Interment was in Yukon Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Kevin Hayes, Zachery Hayes, Zane Hayes, Daniel Pinson, Joseph Pinson, Josh Massey, Robbie Thurman and Chris Patterson.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
