Mrs. Linda Sue Buckner Davis, 63, of Talking Rock, died Saturday, April 9, 2022, at her residence.

She was born April 11, 1958, to the late Eugene Buckner and Sally Hightower Buckner. She was a manager at Dairy Queen in Ellijay and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by husband, Willard Davis; son, Randy (Elisha) Hamrick, of Talking Rock; daughter, Tabatha (Andy) Martin, of Ball Ground; brother, Danny (Judy) Buckner, of Jasper; sisters, Ann (Edward) Casey, of Ellijay and Sandra (Richard) Powell, of Talking Rock; grandchildren, Hannah (Jake) Smith, Dawson Martin, Lauren Martin and Hunter Hamrick; and great-grandchild, River Jacob Smith.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from Ball Creek Baptist Church in Talking Rock with the Rev. Brondy Davis, the Rev. Shane Duggan and the Rev. Randy Hamrick officiating.

Interment was in the church cemetery.

Music was by Eva Reece and Anthony Sanford.

Pallbearers were Andy Martin, Richard Powell, Josh Powell, Danny Buckner, Edward Casey, Christopher Buckner, Dawson Martin and Tommy Martin.

Honorary pallbearers were Hunter Hamrick, Jake Smith, Ruben Martin, Donny Hall, Otis Harper, Mark Harper and David Bell.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
