Mrs. Edith ‘Carol’ Jackson Spilman

Mrs. Edith “Carol” (Jackson) Spilman, 65, of Ellijay, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2021.

She was born Dec. 1, 1956, in Blakley, to the late Willie Jim and Shelby Jean (Johns) Jackson.

She is survived by companion of over 19 years Joseph S. Dean, of Ellijay; brothers, Jimmy Warren Jackson and Johnny Royce Jackson, both of Blakely; nephews, Brandon Jackson, Dustin Jackson, Cameron Jackson and Jonathan Jackson; five great-nephews; and three great-nieces.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Butch Jones officiating.
