Mrs. Alma Jean (Davis) Hanlon

Mrs. Alma Jean (Davis) Hanlon, 75, of Ellijay, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021.

She was born Aug. 28, 1946, in Hillham, Tenn., to her late parents Shirley and Bonnie Modina (Pennington) Davis.

She was a 1963 graduate of Roachdale, Ind., High School. She is preceded in death by five brothers, all from Indiana.

Survivors include husband of 53 years, Stanley Dean Hanlon, Ellijay; daughter, Melody and Teddy Nichols, Ellijay; sons, Jimmy and Susan Bennington, Crawfordsville, Ind., and Darren and Donna Bennington, of Gainesville; grandchildren, Abby Merck, Isabell Merck, Joshua Bennington, Shelbi Bennington, Morgan Bennington and Tori Maxwell; great-grandchildren, Brookelyn Bennington, Kyndal Gordon, Piper Bennington, Braylee Scroggin, Declan Scroggin, Dahlia Newlin, Jaxon Maxwell and Harper Maxwell.
