Mr. Jack Carder, 79, of Ellijay, formerly of Cumming, died Sunday, April 3, 2022.
He was born Jan. 27, 1943, in Suches, to the late Keff and Maggie Carder.
He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Ducktown and a visitor at Harvest Missionary Church in Ellijay.
He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Carole Carder; daughter, Kimberly Joyce Carder; and brother, Pat Carder.
He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Angie Carder, of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Deana and Roger Hopper, of Ellijay; grandchildren, Candice (John) Rogers, Kimber Carder, Caitilin Carder, Jackson Echols and Conway Haggard Jones; great-grandchildren, Jonnathan and Isabella Rogers; and sister, Alma Heard.
A private graveside service was held at Harvest Missionary Church with the Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests you love one another, pray for one another, and always be kind to one another.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
