Dena Yvonne Hartlerode

Mrs. Dena Yvonne Hartlerode, 64, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022.

She was born Aug. 23, 1958, in Benton Harbor, Mich., to Ron Hartlerode and Ester Watkins Hartlerode. She lived here several years and loved her town “Ellijay.” She was a professional photographer for many years and ran a successful antique shop and later worked in other local businesses in town.

Her dog, Duke, was also a welcoming face around town, where he would make his rounds, visiting with the locals and tourists alike.

Dena was a wonderful, daughter, sister and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by husband, Jimmy Servedio.

She is survived by mother, Ester Hartlerode; brothers, Ron Hartlerode, Craig Hartlerode and Brett Kugat and sister, Sheila Hartlerode.
