The Gilmer Sports Hall of Fame will induct three new members Friday.
This year’s honorees include former athlete Wes Tankersley, as well as support personnel Larry Bryant and Joe K. McCutchen.
Tankersley is a 2000 GHS graduate and will be recognized for his prowess on the football field and basketball court during his time as a Bobcat.
Bryant and McCutchen will be inducted in the support category.
Bryant has served as Gilmer High’s physical therapist since 1999. McCutchen has been a stringent supporter of GHS over the years. Providing financial backing to GHS booster clubs and helping athletes attain scholarships are just some of the ways McCutchen has shown his support.

The induction ceremony will be held Friday at the GHS gym between the girls and boys varsity basketball games. The girls are set to tipoff at 6 p.m.
