11U Cats set to play for title

    The 11-under Gilmer Bobcats are title game bound.

    Gilmer notched a 33-6 victory over the Dawson County Tigers last Saturday in the semifinals of the Mountain Athletic Conference to improve to 7-0 on the season.

    For their efforts, the Bobcats will make their way to Chestatee Saturday for the 11U championship against the War Eagles with kickoff set for 7 p.m.

    In other semifinal games, Gilmer’s 7U and 10U were defeated. The 7U Cats lost to Chestatee 21-6. Gilmer’s 10U fell to White County, 39-0.
