Gilmer rec football teams were back on the gridiron for their final games of the regular season.
Five Bobcat squads made the trek to Chestatee last Saturday, and four delivered a loss to the War Eagles.
Gilmer got the proceedings underway with a first-grade shutout victory, 25-0. The third-grade Bobcats came out on top as well, 26-18, before a Chestatee win of 36-0 in the fourth-grade matchup.
The War Eagles were held out of the end zone in the final two games. Gilmer fifth graders won 7-0, and sixth graders ended the afternoon with a 36-0 victory. Gilmer second graders had the day off.
All Gilmer teams will be off this week, and the first round of the playoffs will be Saturday, Oct. 29, in Lumpkin and Union counties.
