The Lady Cats had three wrestlers place on the day with two reaching the finals at the Lady Panther Invitational.
Gilmer’s Abelinda Tercero (135 pounds) and Erika Tercero (235) were runners-up for the Cats. Salma Gonzalez was third in the 110-pound division.
Lucinda McArthur (145) won two of four matches, and Allison Hernandez (115) went 1-2 at the event.
Gilmer scored 69 team points to finish sixth out of 28 teams. Lumpkin County lapped the field with 223 points over second-place Central (90.5). Jackson County (88), Greenbrier (85) and Central Carroll (71.5) rounded out the top five.
The Lady Cats competed in the Walt Hennenbau Invitational Tuesday.
