Gilmer High School's youth sports camps continued this week with cheerleading and baseball and six more will follow in the coming weeks.
The baseball program holds a father/son camp June 14 from 8 a.m. to noon. The camp is open to boys entering kindergarten through 12th grade and their fathers (or male mentor) and the cost is $40. Softball camp is June 16-18 at the Gilmer Baseball/Softball Field on the GHS campus from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The camp is open to girls entering kindergarten through eighth grade and the cost is $60. For more information, contact coach Haley Vick at haley.vick@gilmerschools.com.
The Homegrown Youth Wrestling Camp will be June 18-19 at the Noah Harris Wrestling Center from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is open to wrestlers in high school and middle school. A camp for those entering kindergarten through fifth grade will follow from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The cost for both camps is $40.
