Gilmer High cheerleaders were in Woodstock for their second competition of the season.
GHS was the lone team in the Class 3A division at the annual Woodstock Fall Classic. The team did not incur any deductions for the second weekend in a row, and cheerleaders also saw their score increase.
“Our main focus continues to be increasing our categorical and overall scores each competition in the areas of execution along with hitting a solid routine,” said coach Lori Cantrell. “Their commitment and dedication to this task, along with the increase of their strength, stamina and endurance is leading them to this positive growth and success.
“We increased our score at this competition and are continuing to strive for advancement and perfection as we keep the chance to attend the state competition as our No. 1 goal.”
