Clear Creek began its cross-country season at the Middle School Pickens Preview.
The Bobcats and Lady Cats were in Jasper last Friday for the 3.2K, and the latter finished in 13th with 131 team points. The Bobcats placed 15th in the boys race with a score of 325.
All five Lady Cat point scorers cracked the top 100 led by Estephany Becerra (14:52.1, 41st). She was followed by teammates Allison Hernandez (15:30.5, 67th), Calli Wise (15:39.5, 75th), Autumn Little (15:49, 78th) and Morgan Palmieri (16:07.3, 87th).
Three Bobcats landed inside the top 100 and included Dawson Richard (11:59.2) in 16th, Nelson Jacinto (13:05.9) in 54th and Andrew Chastain (13:51.3) in 82nd. Also scoring team points were Seth Turner (14:36.1, 113th place) and Lucas DeVente (14:52.1, 118th).
Also running for the Bobcats were Edward Marietta (14:59.0, 121st), Gabe Watkins (15:42.3, 156th), Brantley Fain-Richardson (16:20, 173rd), Clint Carver (16:23.8, 175th), Ridge Blocker (17:09.6, 187th), Nathan Grice (17:22.3, 192nd) and Orrin Todd (17:52.8, 196th).
Remaining Lady Cat runners included Alie Morin (17:01.9, 115th), Maggie Thompson (17:06.5, 116th), Jennifer Garcia (17:42.5, 126th), Joei Marshall (18:04.5, 136th), Sonni Ralston (18:25.9, 144th), Xiare Ramirez (18:33.7, 153rd) and Lucina Farist (18:35.9, 155th).
Great Strides Running Club was the top team in the boys and girls races.
There was also a mixed 3.2K, which included six more Lady Cats. Runners included Lizbeth Martinez (19:12, 130th), Malley Blocker (19:39, 139th), Belle Jones (19:46, 143rd), Halle West (20:11, 155th), Emilee Defoor (20:27.1, 162nd) and Andrea Puac (20:46.6, 167th).
