The annual cross-country meet was held last Saturday at Frogtown Trail in Cumming and drew 11 teams.
The Clear Creek Middle School Lady Cats ended their day in sixth place with 221 points, while the Bobcats were ninth on the boys side with 313.
Three Lady Cats cracked the top 50 led by Lakelyn Garrett (33rd, 16:52.25), Becca Heaslip (35th, 16:54.28) and Karenza Mathis (41st, 17:02.46). Kayla Overcash (66th, 18:06.89), Anna Kate Heaslip (68th, 18:11.30), Ryn Baldwin (78th, 18:27.20), Ava West (109th, 19:30.96) and Madelyn Boyer (114th, 19:47.15) also ran the two-mile course for the Cats.
Jackson Towns (38th, 14:18.27) was the No. 1 Bobcat once again and he was followed by teammates Cole Jones (51st, 14:54.97), Eli Tilton (80th, 15:43.24), Asher Kleczka (88th, 15:59.23), Carson Fowler (103rd, 16:13.35), Andrew Burgess (125th, 16:46.88) and Keven Ramirez-Reymundo (148th, 17:29.02).
CCMS hosted its annual meet Monday.
