Clear Creek Middle School wrestlers claimed two more league wins.
The CCMS Bobcats were at Fannin County Nov. 14 and clipped the Rebels for a 45-42 victory. Clear Creek hosted Union County Nov. 19 and crushed the Panthers, 72-18.
Dawson Duncan began the Cats’ day versus Fannin with a pin at 72 pounds. FCMS won the next four bouts before CCMS pins by Gauge Crump (102 pounds) and Rudy Morales (110). Two wins by Fannin followed, and Bobcats Gabriel Reynoso (132, pin) and Keigan Brookshire (139, decision) both won.
The teams split the final six bouts, and CCMS bonus points were the difference. Both Juan Alonso (155) and Fernando Montes (165) pinned for Clear Creek, and FCMS forfeited to Tryton Haley at 180.
Versus Union, CCMS winners by fall were Christian Bautista (180), Parker Settel (210), Caleb Gaspar (275), Asher Aleczka (79), Morales, Jasper Barr (118), Guidman Bautista (125), Reynoso and Tucker Ledford (147).
