Local teams were in town for the annual Mountain League Championships.
Clear Creek Middle School hosted the meet last Monday and eight teams were in attendance.
For the Lady Cats, Lakelyn Garrett led the way in eighth place (15:52.30) and was followed by teammates Kayla Overcash (15th place, 16:39.80), Becca Heaslip (16th, 16:46.10), Karenza Mathis (17th, 16:47.90) and Anna Kate Heaslip (24th, 17:22.90).
On the boys side, Jackson Towns (5th, 13:21.50) was the top Bobcat. He was joined in the top 30 by Cole Jones (17th, 14:24.50), Carson Fowler (25th, 15:06.90), Asher Kleczka (29th, 15:16.80) and Eli Tilton (30th, 15:18.20).
Rounding out the Bobcat finishers were Andrew Burgess (49th, 16:26.10), Keven Ramirez-Reymundo (54th, 16:38.10), Bentley Stephens (57th, 16:58.80), Zane Johnson (70th, 19:04.90), Jayden Nolasco-Chun (73rd, 19:36.20), Shep Oleksa (75th, 20:09.30), Gavyn Mesner (82nd, 22:10.50), Austin Craig (88th, 23:59.90), Lukas Justice (91st, 25:59.70) and Charles Greenwood (92nd, 26:49.20).
Remaining Lady Cats included Ryn Baldwin (26th, 17:39.40), Genesis Martinez Farfan (32nd, 18:00.00), Madelyn Boyer (42nd, 19:13.30), Natalia Gonzalez-Santos (45th, 19:35.60), Ava West (47th, 19:45.50), Genesis Welch (48th, 19:58.10), Aria Lee (49th, 20:01.10), Cameron Garza (52nd, 20:07.60), Emma Newhart (56th, 21:14.00), Ella Craig (58th, 21:26.60) and Lilha Mullen (59th, 21:31.90).
