Clear Creek Middle School hit the basketball court for league matchups against White and Union counties.
The seventh-grade Lady Cats were in Union County last Thursday and won in overtime, 48-40.

The Bobcats were in White County last Monday, and the host Warriors won both games. Clear Creekâs Jackson Sevcech scored 14, but the Cats struggled to find much offense elsewhere. CCMS was behind by eight points at the half and 15 after the third as WCMS won, 42-28.
Nothing separated the eighth-grade teams through two quarters, but White built a seven-point lead heading into the fourth and won, 53-50. Silas West led CCMS with 17 points and Noah Rice added 10.
Kayson Taylor scored 23 for CCMS at home Thursday against Union County, but the Panthers pulled away in the fourth for a 63-52 win.
The eighth-grade Bobcats distanced themselves in the second quarter to open an 11-point halftime lead. UCMS found more offensive consistency in the second half but could not catch CCMS in a 54-38 Bobcat victory.
