A man from Cumming was killed when his motorcycle hit a overturned camper.
A GMC Yukon was pulling a camper west on Hwy. 52 Sunday, June 13, at 3:24 p.m. when the driver lost control and the camper separated, according to a report from the Georgia State Patrol.
The Yukon went off the south side of the road, overturned and struck a utility pole. The camper continued west and overturned partially in the eastbound lane.
Daniel Hogan, 59, was traveling east on his Harley Davidson when he was struck by the camper, according to the report. He suffered fatal injuries.
The Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is assisting with the investigation.
