Morris Holden

Mr. Morris Holden, 91, of Ellijay, died Thursday, April 7, 2022, at his residence.

He was born in Gilmer County March 7, 1931, to the late Toy Holden and Candy Stover Holden.

He was retired from the construction industry and was a member of River Hill Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by daughter, Linda Annette Holden.

He is survived by wife, Monnie Lee Holden; brother, Franklin Holden; sister, Audrey White; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2022, at Scrougetown Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Stover officiating.

Interment was in Scrougetown Cemetery.

Pallbearers were David Allen, Mickey Weaver, Bill Weaver, Johnny Henson, Charles Stepp and Jacob Pritchett.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
