Charles Frederick ‘Freddy’ Goble

Mr. Charles Frederick “Freddy” Goble, 68, of Talking Rock, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.

He was born Sept. 30, 1953, to Roscoe
and Gwendola Goble in Jasper.

He is preceded in death by mother and father, Roscoe and Gwendola Goble; brother, L.C. Goble; sisters, Linda Whitfield and Mildred Baldridge.

He is survived by wife, Dawn Goble; daughter, Staci Causby, of Chatsworth; son, Griffin Goble, of Talking Rock; daughter, Jessica Griggs of Cohutta; daughters and sons-in-law, Amber and Jeff Wilcox, of Ellijay, Erin and Robert Bryant, of Cohutta; sister, Pauline Cochran, of Douglasville; brother, Bobby Goble, of Orlando, Fla.; sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and Noel West, of Resaca; sister, Margaret Goode, of Jasper; grandchildren, Haley Patterson, Conner Patterson, Garrett Causby, Addyson Causby, Trystan Goble, Toccoa Goble, Zetta Griggs, Natalie Wilcox, Noah Wilcox, Hudson Wilcox, Keegen Bryant, Sawyer Bryant and Weston Bryant.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022,  at  Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Dotson officiating.   

Interment was in Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Roper Funeral Home and Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
