Albert Lee Wade

Mr. Albert Lee Wade, 80, of Ellijay, died Monday, Sept. 20, 2021.

He was born in Cordele, Dec. 3, 1940, to the late Otis Albert Wade and Mattis Odess Crumdly Wade.

He was a United States veteran, having served in the U.S. Marine Corp.

He is survived by wife, Beverley Ferrell; sons, Steven Johnson, John Paul Johnson and Chad Wade; brother, Richard Wade; sisters, Barbara Moore and Nedra Meyer; and grandchildren, Alyssa Wade, Adger Johnson, Dubs Johnson, Reece Johnson and Carly Johnson.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, 2021, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Luke Logan officiating.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
