Walk back in time as you tour the Tabor House History Museum, a beautiful Victorian home filled with more than 2,500 artifacts that tell the history and heritage of Gilmer County. The displays depict Cherokee and early settlers, a period kitchen, handicrafts, Civil War and military history. The museum is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and the first four Saturdays of each month. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
