Mrs. Ernesteen Reece Clark, 89, of Ellijay, died Friday, April 22, 2022, at her residence.

She was born on Feb. 8, 1933, in Gilmer County to the late Arthur Reece and Dester Burrell Reece.

She was a member of Harvest Missionary Church in Ellijay.

Mr. and Mrs. Clark bought the Clark Family Farm on Big Creek Road when he retired from Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta and moved back home to
Ellijay.

They enjoyed living in Ellijay after so many years gone and loved spending time with their family on the farm.

She is preceded in death by husband, Carl Clark; son Wendell Lewis Clark, brothers, Howard Reece, Everett Reece, Hoke Reece, Hollis Reece; sisters, Frankie Ellis, Catherine Taylor, Christine Garland and Sadie Bryan; grandchild, Jason Sullivan Pierce; and one great-grandchild, Jacob Tanner Searcy.

She is survived by daughters, Carolyn Pierce and Marty Baxter, both of Ellijay; grandchildren, Melisa Searcy, Amanda (Adam) Deboard, Kayla Baxter (Jason Chastain), and Brent (Bridgett) Pierce; 10 great-grandchildren, Tyler Searcy (Memorie Swinney) Angel Searcy, Lucas Searcy, Morgan Deboard, Darrin Deboard, Ellie Chastain, Gabrien Pierce, Grayson Pierce, Gunner Pierce, Graylynn Pierce; and one great-great-grandchild, Emma Lee Searcy.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2022, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen Arnold officiating.

Interment was in the Yukon Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Keith Holloway, Tyler Searcy, Scott Garland, Adam Deboard, Lucas Searcy and Brent Pierce.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
