Jimmy Edward Dale

Mr. Jimmy Edward Dale, 74, of Ellijay died Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

He was born Sept. 2, 1947,  in Ellijay, to the late Jesse Perry and Nena Belle Gibson Dale. He was of the Baptist faith and was an avid deer hunter.

He is preceded in death by sisters, Betty Ann Southern and Shirley Dale Bailey.

He is survived by siblings and spouses Ronnie and Ernestine Dale, Sammy Dale, Jesse Dale, all of Ellijay; sisters, Earlene and Jerry Millsaps, Connie Dale Nazerian, Hilda and Troy McDaris, all of Ellijay; nieces and nephews, Angela Dale, Lynn Millsaps Harbour, Amy Bailey, Justin McDaris, Kennon Nazerian; great-nephews, Colby Newton and Cooper Hensley; great-niece, Bristal Harbour; and great-great-niece, Audrey Belle Newton.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Logan Funeral Home & Chapel with the Rev. Franklin Harper and the Rev. Tony Withrow officiating.

Pallbearers were Justin McDaris, Kennon Nazerian, Colby Newton, Cooper Hensley, Randall Thurman, Robbie Harbour, Ermel Southern and Jerry Millsaps.

Donations can be made to the Flat Branch Cemetery Fund, c/o Jerry Millsaps, 995 New Hope Road, Ellijay, GA 30540, in memory of Mr. Dale.
