Mr. Jason Lamar Alley, 47, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, March 8, 2022, of end stage renal failure.

He was born in Thomasville April 18, 1975, to Lamar Alley and the late Hattie Norman House.

He loved music, especially playing the guitar and drums. He loved sports. His favorite team was Florida State University. He loved to make people laugh and always offered to help others as needed.

He is preceded in death by uncle, Ralph Norman, of Milledgeville.

He is survived by fiance, Susan Vinson, of Thomasville; father, Lamar Alley, of Thomasville; stepfather, Randy House, of Thomasville; uncles and aunts, Charlie and Sandy McCann, Sid and Frances May, all of Ellijay, Dallas Norman, of Thomasville, Joy Norman, of Milledgeville; cousins, Sean and Alexa Moran, of Atlanta, Kimble and Naho McCann, of Honolulu, Hawaii, Daryll Victorio and Camille May, Hudson May and Anna Jester, all of Athens, Travis and Dee McCoy, of Cairo, Jack and Meg Crowder, of Lawrenceville, Joe Itson and Amy Norman Itson, Jason and Laura Jo Hewitt, all of Tallahassee, Fla., Jill and Byron Sokol, of Warner Robins, and Brian and Ashlee Crews, of Raleigh, N.C.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Cherry Log Christian Church in Cherry Log. The Rev. Charles Walls will officiate.
