Janice Bickhart Ross

Janice Bickhart Ross, 88, of Ellijay, died Sunday, April 10, 2022.

She was born in Milwaukee, Wis., Jan. 19, 1934, to Ira A Bickhart and Marjorie Rheinfrank Bickhart.

She is preceded in death by husband, Donald Perry Ross; sister, Marilyn Baker, brother, Roland Bickhart and most recently, sister, Barbara Griffin.

She married Don Ross and for over 50 years they enjoyed spending time at Lake Lanier with friends and family, playing bridge, cooking and traveling to Maine and seeing relatives along the way.

She was an active member of the Episcopal church. Her faith meant a great deal to her and she showed it by being a Daughter of the King, arranging flowers for the altar and her beautiful voice in the choir.

Over the years, she participated in several organizations and civic committees.

She is survived by daughters, Kathy Ross, and Mary Laird (Chris), both of Atlanta, and Donna Stull, of Ellijay; grandsons, Harrison and Grant; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
