Harvey Eugene Goble

Mr. Harvey Eugene Goble, 86, of Ellijay, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2022.

He was born in Gilmer County Dec. 23, 1935, to the late Jack Goble and Rosette Padgett Goble.

He was retired from Mohawk Industries and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by wife, Virginia Goble.

He is survived by sons, Jackie Goble, Johnny Goble, and Chad Goble; daughter, Belinda Goble; sister, Charlicia Brewer; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Blankenship officiating.

Interment was in Yukon Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Mitchell Stanley, Gary Stanley, Joseph Warner, Jimmy Sanford, Bobby Brewer, Hurbert Brewer, Steven Bynum and Josh Watkins.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
