Charles David Dover

Mr. Charles David Dover, 82, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

He was born April 11, 1940, in Blue Ridge, to the late Willie David and Hazel Mae Bell (Brown) Dover.

He enjoyed going to church and had a love for music. He was a graduate of Murray High School in 1959.

He is preceded in death by sister, Wanda Freeman.

He is survived by children, Chris (Heather) Dover, Dustin (Shenna) Dover, Linda Hayes and Elizabeth Newell; grandchildren, John Ladehoff, Kansas (Hattie) Dover, Tanya (Eris) Dover and David Alvarez; great-grandchildren Keara Ladehoff; and siblings, Lois Blassingame and Quilla (G.L) Ledford.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022, at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Richards officiating.

Interment was in New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery, Blue Ridge.

Pallbearers were Jake Knight, John Colwell, Austin Quarles, Johnny Fowler, Paul Hood and Greg Ledford.
