Mrs. Regina Teague Goble, 56, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021.

She was born in Longmont, Colo., Dec. 25, 1964, to the late Robert Teague and Opal Carney.

She was an author and had published many poems and a book entitled, The Teague Descendants: To Love, To Honor, and To Cherish.

Copies of her book can be found at the Gilmer County Library.

She was a wonderful, loving and caring mother, sister, wife and daughter.

She is survived by husband, John Goble; daughter, Chasiti and husband, Chandler Jones; brother, Shannon Teague; sister, Treina and husband, Dudley Bevins; mother, Opal Carney; stepsister, Leslie Hunt; special great-nephew, Dakota Caldwell; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Rosser officiating.

Interment was in Yukon Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ricky Hughs, Shannon Teague, Mitchell Hughs and Chris Jones.

Honorary pallbearers were C.J. Reece, Alvin Colwell and Jackie Goble.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
