Greg Brant Wells

Mr. Greg Brant Wells,  48, of Ellijay, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 26, 1972, to Ray Frank and Shirley Ruth (Hill) Wells in Dalton.

He was a graduate of Gilmer High School, class of 1991. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and spending time with his family.

He is survived by wife, Amy Teague Wells; children and spouses, Zachary and Jessie Hopper, Elizabeth and Tyler Jarrad, Isaiah Hopper, Lila Wells; parents, Ray and Shirley Wells; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Connie Wells, Steve and Tracy Wells, all of Ellijay; future granddaughter, Riley Mae Hopper; nieces and nephews, Hannah Wells Deboard, Lauren Wells Vick, Emma Wells, Katie Wells, Gracelyn Teague and Jarrett Teague.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, from Nine Mile United Methodist Church with the Rev. Warren Williams, the Rev. Randy McClure and the Rev. John Moeller officiating.

Music will be by Virginia Rutledge and Sarah Burnett.

Interment will follow in the Nine Mile Community Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brian Roper, Steve Farist, Keith Grizzle, Chad Walker, Josh Teague, Chad West, Brent Sanford, Jeremy Queen and Chad DeBoard.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Nine Mile Community Cemetery, c/o Sandra Sales, 55 Sanford Lane Ellijay, GA 30540 in memory of Mr. Wells.
