Wanda Kay Wishon Harper

Mrs. Wanda Kay Wishon Harper, 70, of Ellijay, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, at her residence.

She was a lifelong resident of Gilmer County, a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by husband of 50 years, Lee Roy Harper; son, Christopher Harper; father, Herbert Wishon; sister, Brenda Sales; and brothers, Howell Wishon and Larry Wishon.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Junior Partin; grandchildren, Kaylee Partin and Coby Partin; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022, from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Franklin Harper and the Rev. Eugene Davis officiating.

Music was by Martha Harper.

Interment was in the Mt. Pleasant (Buckhorn) Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Junior Partin, Ronnie Wishon, Kenny Wishon, Kelly Davis, Coby Partin and Sawyer Wishon.
