Roy Anderson Neville

Mr. Roy Anderson Neville Sr., 98, of Ellijay, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2019.

He was born Oct. 28, 1920, in Bradenton, Fla., to the late Samuel and Bertha Evans Neville. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the Ellijay Church of Christ. 

He is preceded in death by wife, Rita Ann Neville; and son, Jimmy Neville.

He is survived by children and in-laws, Tina Neville, of Devine, Texas, Julia and Kenneth Carpenter, of Ellijay,  Roy A. and Kathleen Neville Jr., of Bradenton, Fla., David E. Neville, of Dallas; grandchildren, Mary Voyles, Brittney Neville, Justin Neville and Beth Ford; great-grandchildren, Brockton Rodriguez and Stevie Hall; great-great-grandchildren, Brockton Rodriguez Jr., Justin Rodriguez and Miah Rodriguez.

Memorial services were held at 11 a.m Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, from the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Minister Butch Jones officiating. 

Military graveside rites were performed by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
