Ronald ‘Hoss’ William Walker

Mr. Ronald “Hoss” William Walker, 79, of Ellijay, died Friday, July 29, 2022, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 23, 1942, to the late Harold Walker and Eunice Williams Walker.

He worked in construction, was a member of First Baptist Church of Ellijay and was a United States Army veteran.

He is preceded in death by twin, Donald “Duck” Walker; sister, Barbara Walker; and brother, Jimmy Walker.

He is survived by daughters, Maria Walker and Amelia Walker, both of Ellijay; several nieces and nephews; extended family members.

Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Wendell Hester officiating.

Interment will follow in the Turniptown Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scott Holden, Tony Southern, Russell Walker, Nathan Walker, Stephen Morris, Aaron Garland and Dusty Beane.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Williams, Billy Simmons, Larry Hoover, Jim Walker, Travis George, Greg Brooks, Bill Northcut, Buck Peacock, Perry McKinney and Jason Walker.

Bernhardt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
