Roger Lynn Patterson

Mr. Roger Lynn Patterson, 61, of Ellijay, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020.

He was born Feb. 9, 1958, in Fannin County, to Robert and Myrtle Brown Patterson. He worked for Pilgrim’s Pride in the maintenance department and was of the Baptist faith. 

He is preceded in death by father, Robert Patterson.

He is survived by mother, Myrtle Patterson, of Ellijay; daughter and son in-law, Sonia and Junior Jenkins, of Cherry Log; grandchildren, Madison and Jacob Jenkins, of Cherry Log; brother, James (Bear) Patterson, of Ellijay; sister, Stella Patterson, of Blue Ridge; niece, Jamie Weeks; nephew, Matt Lowery; and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister Butch Jones officiating. 

Music was by the congregation and led by Jeremy Green.

Pallbearers were Robert Hatchett, Larry Mullinax, Jeremiah Weeks, Donnie Bailey, Larry Eller and Chris Mullinax. 

Interment was in the Yukon Cemetery.
