Robert R. ‘Bobby’ Teague
Mr. Robert R. “Bobby” Teague, 72, of Ellijay, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016.
He was born July 17, 1944, in Dalton to the late Ermon and Dorothy Wilson Teague. He was a retired truck driver, U.S. Air Force veteran and member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by brothers, Edward Teague and Frank Teague; and sister, Sue Egner.
He is survived by son, Shannon Teague, of Ellijay; daughters and sons-in-law, Regina and Johnny Goble, Treina and Dudley Bevins, all of Ellijay; daughter-in-law, Kellie Teague; grandchildren, Dudgrick Bevins, Chasiti Goble, Collin Teague, Ivie Teague; sisters, Edith Elliott, Peggy Call, both of Ellijay, Dianne Eddy, of Blue Ridge; special friend and mother of the children, Opal Carney, of Ellijay.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Henson and the Rev. Lamar Long officiating.
Pallbearers were Tony Kent, Roger Aaron, Eddie Henson, Wayne Springfield, Dudgrick Bivins, Collin Teague and Glenn Durant.
Honorary pallbearers were David Weaver, Billy Lock, Kenneth Teague and Mack Hipp.
Interment was in the Yukon Cemetery.
