Mrs. Wanda Lou Cagle Cook, 68, of Ellijay, died Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at her residence. She was born Dec. 23, 1951, to the late Grady William and Bessie Pearl Gibson Cagle in Ellijay.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and worked as a secretary for Dr. E.J. Fernandez for 18 years. She graduated Gilmer High School, class of 1969. 

She is preceded in death by brother, Thomas Bookie Cagle. 

She is survived by husband of 48 years, Bobby Anthony Cook; daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Chris Wright, of Ellijay; son, Bobby “Anthony” Cook Jr., of Ellijay; grandchildren, Kenley Cook, Kamron Cook and Colt Wright. 

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020, from the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Jones and the Rev. Brian Clayton officiating. 

Pallbearers were Chris Wright, Roger Stahl, Michael Bennett, Stacy Rogers, Jerry Millsaps, Keith Logan and Lamar Walker.

Donations can be made to New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, in memory of Mrs. Cook.
