Mrs. Shirley F. Long, 81, of Ellijay, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019.
She was born June 8, 1938, in Gilmer County, to the late Freeman and Elzie Chastain Long. She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by husband, Dee Long; son, Chris Long; daughter, Jennifer Long; and brother, Leon Long.
She is survived by Karen Long, of Ellijay; three grandchildren; brother, LeRoy Long, of Ellijay; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, 2019, from the Yukon Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
