Mrs. Mary Ann Rich, 75, of Talking Rock, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020.

She was born April 20, 1944, in Fannin County, to the late Boone and Eula Beavers Abercrombie. She was a housewife and member of the House of Prayer in Talking Rock. 

She is preceded in death by siblings, Charles and Vera Abercrombie.

She is survived by husband, James E. Rich; daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and J.I. Mayfield, of Talking Rock; brothers,  Joey Abercrombie, of Marietta, Johnny Abercrombie, of Florida; sisters, Frankie Brown, of Marietta, Joan Buckner, of Ellijay, Lisa Abercrombie and Martha Sue Harris, both of Madisonville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Crystal Haygood, Stanley Haygood and Daryl Mayfield; great-grandchildren, Hannah McClure, Haley Miller, Ava Jane Sanders, Chandese Kate Sanders, Trevor McClure, Cassidy Haygood; great-great-grandchild, Emery Gene McClure.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Pat Shelton officiating. 

Music was by Teresa Chastain. 

Pallbearers were Raymond Chappell, Bo Townsend, William Marlow, Daryl Mayfield, Trevor McClure and Frank Tilson.

Interment was in the Yukon Cemetery.
