Mrs. Louise Brumlow Bishop
Mrs. Louise Brumlow Bishop, 89, of Metter, wife of Hugh Cleveland Bishop, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, at her residence.
She was born in Ray City to William and Lois Brumlow.
She was of the Baptist faith and was a retired school teacher having taught in the Toombs County and Gwinnett County school systems for over 30 years. She loved playing the piano, making jewelry, as well as oil painting and reading.
She is survived by daughter, Donna Marie Bishop Buckles and husband, Joe, of Metter; sons, Hugh Cleveland Bishop Jr. and wife, Valeri, of Cumming, Michael Allen Bishop, and wife, Palin, of Cerrillas, N.M., and John Thomas Bishop, and wife, Sandy, of Boise, Idaho; sister, Marie Brumlow Davidson and husband, Dean; brother, Bill Brumlow; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.
The family will greet and visit with friends one hour prior to the service.
