Mrs. Hilda Driver Hawk
Mrs. Hilda Driver Hawk, born Saturday, Aug. 23, 1927, died Feb. 25, 2017.
Graveside services will be held at Crest Lawn Cemetery in Atlanta Saturday, March 11, 2017, at 1 p.m.
She was born in Atlanta to Henderson M. and Ruth Duncan Driver. She was a loving wife and mother and was married for 63 years when her husband, Arthur Hawk, died in 2007.
She retired in 1993 after 36 years with Mead Packaging and retired again in 1999 after five years with Georgia Baptist Hospital. She then volunteered at Georgia Baptist Hospital, Fernbank Museum of Natural History and at her church, Rainbow Park Baptist. While employed, she was a member and officer of Executive Women International. She was also a member and facilitator for the Decatur Hospital Group of Bosom Buddies, a support group for survivors of breast cancer. She enjoyed square dancing, round dancing and clogging.
She is survived by children, Ron Hawk, of Fort Mountain, Eric and Gail Irene Hawk Fedor Seawell, of Atlanta; grandchildren, Anthony Wayne Fedor Sr., and Tony and Tracey Fedor-Greiner, of Albuquerque, N.M.; great-grandchildren, Anthony Wayne Fedor Jr., and Isabella (Bella) Amelie Greiner; and several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
