Mrs. Gertrude Ralston

Mrs. Gertrude Ralston, 84, of Clinton, N.C., formerly of Ellijay, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020. She was born April 10, 1936, in Sylvester, to the late Huey and Eunice Carter Pless. 

She was a homemaker, and of the Baptist faith. 

She is preceded in death by husband, Parks Ralston; and brother, Herman Pless.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Glen and Darlene Lowman, of Stedman, N.C., Gary Lowman, Ringgold, Curtis and Vivian Lowman, of Prince George, Va.,; stepsons and daughter-in-law, Howard and Alena Ralston, of Cumming, Jeffery and Jody Ralston, of Ellijay; sister and brother-in-law, Della and Don Peek, of Blue Ridge; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at the Riverhill Baptist Church with the Rev. James Abercrombie and the Rev. Gene Ware officiating.

Music was by the Rev. and Mrs.  James Abercrombie.

Pallbearers were Dale Carson, Jeremy Lowman, Bradley Lowman, Davis Jordan, Howard Ralston and Bryan Arrabay.

Interment was in the church cemetery.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
