Mrs. Callie Lavada Fricks, 89, of Ellijay, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, at  Parkside Ellijay Skilled Nursing Care.

She was born Jan. 28, 1930, in Lumpkin County, to the late Lester and Missouri Carney Crane.

She was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church and retired from Gold Kist Poultry Corporation after 30 years of employment. 

She is preceded in death by husband, Bealer Fricks; and sons, Donald Fricks and Clayton Crane.

She is survived by children and in-laws, Leslie (David) Colwell, Doug (Sandra) Fricks, David (Carolyn) Fricks, all of Ellijay; grandchildren, Brittany Manzo, Sarah Smith, Clay, John and Chris Crane; great-grandchildren, Asher Manzo, Austin and Christin Crane, Cierra Brady; and great-great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kylie and Caden Brady, Wyatt and Gage Crane.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, 2019, from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eugene Davis and the Rev. Pat Shelton officiating. 

Music was by Linda and Ronald Hyde. 

Interment was in the Nimblewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Dahlonega.

Pallbearers were Mack Logan, Gus Logan, Ted Logan, Clay Crane, John Crane, Chris Crane and J.R. Manzo.
