Mrs. Barbara Milton Reece

Mrs. Barbara Milton Reece, 87, of Ellijay, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2019.

She was born Jan. 9, 1932, in Gilmer County to the late Newman Milton and Annie Brown Milton. She was a graduate of Ellijay High School, was a homemaker and worked for Western Electric for 20 years.  She was a member of Greer Chapel Baptist Church in Marietta.

She is preceded in death by husband, Bud Reece.

She is survived by son, Greg Reece; and sister, Melba Gibson.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Rubin Smith officiating. 

Music was by Bill McVey. 

Pallbearers were Michael Langley, David Langley and Charles Gibson. 

Interment was in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
